Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued by the Central California Area Office, US Bureau of Reclamation, Folsom, CA, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Receipt of quotes no later than March 10, 2008 at 3:00 PM. This procurement action is 100% small business set-aside and the solicitation is being issued as Request for Quote (RFQ) Brand Name or Equal FAR 52.211-6. The NAICS code is 333120, the small business standard is 750 employees. THE REQUIREMENT: BRAND NAME OR EQUAL to the following: One (1) Holland B110 Industrial Tractor-Loader-Backhoe, 110 Gross HP, 4 wheel drive, factory cab with heat and A/C, Pilot Control Backhoe w/24" Backhoe Bucket, Aux. Loader Hyds., 4-1 Front Loader Bucket. Ex-hoe Dipperstick, Air Ride Seat. Extra attachments to include 12" Backhoe Bucket. McMillen X3450H200 Drive Unit for Pilot Control Dipperstick. McMillen Cradle Mount Bracket. McMillen HDP 12"X4' Auger, Heavy-Duty. New Holland B-Directional Hydraulic Kit for Auger Drive. Holland Parts and Repair Manuals. Include shipping in the total price, FOB Destination. DELIVERT TO: Lake Berryessa, 5520 Knoxville Road, Napa, CA 94558. Vehicles are restricted to no more that 38'in length. Vehicle lengths are enforced on CA-121 from Napa, CA and CA-128 from Interstate 80. Both roads are winding; CA-121 is particularly sharp. The hours for delivery are 7:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Offeror(s) proposing alternative types/brands than those indicated shall bear the burden of proof that an item is in fact equal or better. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation on or about March 14, 2008, that is most advantageous to the Government.
