DESC: 2540-01-542-3026, Part Number 11581705, The item to procure is a Tow Eye made from alloy steel forging UNS G-43400 per AMS 6484. Hardness: Quench and temper to RC28/32 or BHN271/301. The part is approximate 21.43 inches long, 7 inches at the widest dimension and 3.59 inches thick. Requirements are 48 Each, Tow Eye. FOB is Destination. For use on the M777 Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 23 June 2008. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
