Description
The National Gallery of Art intends to purchase: 17 Toshiba Portege R500-S5002 notebook computers and 27 Dell Latitude notebook computers.
The minimum requirements for the Toshiba Porteges are: 1GB RAM; 80GB hard drive; DVD +/-R read and write; 1024x768 native resolution; 12" display; 3lbs or less; and a 3 year warranty.
The requirements for the Dell Latitudes are as follows: Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 (2.2Ghz) 4M L2 cache, 800Mhz dual core; 80GB hard drive, 9.5MM, 5400RPM; 1.0 GB, DDR2-667 SDRAM, 1 DIMM; Intel Integrated Graphics Media Accelerator X3100; 15.4" Wide Screen WXGA LCD Panel; 24X CD-RW/DVD w/ Cyberlink Power DVD; Wireless LAN Intel 3945 802.11 a/g Dual-Band Mini Card; Genuine Windows XP Professional, SP2, with media; Dell USB 2-button Black Optical Mouse; 9 Cell battery; 90W A/C Adapter; Media Module Security Lock; Large Nylon Carrying Case; 3 year warranty.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commmercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
