Procurement and Installation of a 10-Ton Roof-top Cooling / Heating System
The City of East Point, Georgia is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and interested vendors for the procurement and installation of one (1) 10-ton roof-top cooling unit and the associated cooling / heating system including a tamper-proof thermostat, additional venting as required, drainage system, etc. The Prospective Provider s price shall include the equipment, materials, supervision, labor, a two (2) year maintenance agreement and a two (2) year unconditional warranty on all equipment, parts and labor. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at 3120 Bayard Street, East Point, Georgia. Vendors are expected to arrive on time and dressed to conduct an inspection of the building and current system. Proposals submitted from non-represented vendors shall not be given award consideration of any type and shall be destroyed upon receipt. Solicitation documentation will not be available at the Pre-Bid Conference.
Prospective Service Providers wishing to participate in this solicitation may download a copy of the official solicitation documents by visiting the City s web site at http://www.eastpointcity.org. Official solicitation documents cannot be obtained from the web site you are viewing, or in person from the City nor by mail, fax or courier service.
Sealed bids shall be received on behalf of the City until 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2008, by the Department of Contracts and Procurement located at 1526 East Forrest Avenue, Suite 400, East Point, Georgia 30344.
This shall be a sealed solicitation. Oral, telephoned, telegraphed, faxed, emailed or otherwise unsealed responses shall be considered invalid, shall not be given type of award consideration and shall be destroyed upon receipt.
