The University of Texas at Austin, Project Management and Construction Services, is requesting your response to the Request for Proposals for the above referenced COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSAL Projects. This email is notification that
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) WITH ATTACHMENTS
is available for review at the PMCS Web Site

Plans and Specifications will be available from Project Management and Construction Services starting on July 18, 2008 at the Facilities Complex Building 1 (FC1), 1301 E. Dean Keeton, Room 2.102. Call for availability at 471-3042.
The abbreviated Summary of Work is as follows:
Install Fire Sprinkler & Alarm SystemsExcept as otherwise expressly provided herein, the Contractor shall supply all adequate and competent labor, supervision, tools, equipment, installed and consumable materials, services, testing devices, warehousing and each and every item of expense necessary for the design, engineering, supply, fabrication, field erection, applications, handling, hauling, unloading, receiving, installation, construction, assembly, testing, evaluation and quality assurance of the UT Austin, F. Loren Winship Drama Building (WIN) Install Fire Sprinkler & Alarm Systems work. A complete description of the Install Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Systems is referenced in Section 01010 € SUMMARY OF WORK.
The general Construction Budget for the project is approximately:
$860,000.00 to $974,000.00
The following is the project schedule of work:
All work for Install Fire Sprinkler & Alarm Systems must begin no earlier than September 15, 2008 and must be completed by the end of the day on January 12, 2009.
A REQUIRED Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for July 29, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. in FC1, Room 1.118B. We look forward to your attendance.
ENVELOPE NO 1 OF THE PROPOSAL IS DUE BY August 12, 2008 at 2:00 P.M.
ENVELOPES NO 2 & 3 OF THE PROPOSAL ARE DUE BY August 13, 2008 at 2:00 P.M.
