TEXAS A&M; UNIVERSITY-KINGSVILLE
KINGSVILLE, TEXAS
Bids, including a sealed Bid Proposal, for
the € Wildlife Center Courtyard Trellis €
project for Texas A&M; University-
Kingsville shall be received in the Office
of Procurement & General Services, Room
121, College Hall, Texas A&M; University-
Kingsville, Kingsville, Texas on Thursday,
January 17, 2008. Closing time for the
receipt of the sealed Bid Proposals and
HSP Plan is 2:00 PM. Bids will be
publicly opened and read aloud in Room
121.
The Proposal form, Information to Bidders,
Plans (drawings), Conditions of the
Contract, Technical specifications and
other documents that constitute the
contract may be examined at the office of
Oscar Castillo, Support Services Building,
1010 N. Retama, Texas A&M; University-
Kingsville, phone 361-593-2645 or in the
Office of the Architects, Ford Powell &
Carson, 1138 East Commerce Street, San
Antonio, Texas 78205, phone 210-226-1246.
General Contractors may obtain a set of
plans and specifications from the
Architect/Engineer, upon receipt of a
deposit per set. Upon returning such
set(s) promptly and in good condition
within three weeks, after the bid date,
bidder will be refunded the deposit. Non-
bidders will be refunded the deposit, less
the cost of reproduction. A set can also
be obtained from Ridgways in Corpus
Christi, Texas. Ridgways will charge a
reproduction fee.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any
formalities or to reject any or all Bids.
Alteration or modification of the Bid
Forms shall be cause for rejection of the
Bid. A prebid meeting is scheduled for
2:00 PM, January 8, 2008. The prebid
meeting is not mandatory.
Each Bidder must deposit with the Bid, a
Bid Security in the amount, form and
subject to the conditions provided in the
Information to Bidders.
No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within
thirty (30) days after the actual date of
the opening thereof.
