Technology Based Recording Equipment, Software and Services

The purpose of this Request for Offer (RFO) is to solicit responses from potential Vendors to provide technology based recording equipment, software and related services to the State of Texas, acting by and through the Department of Information Resources (DIR). The purpose of these products and services is to capture, play back and manage the recording of court proceedings, depositions, administrative hearings, law enforcement activities such as interrogations and interviews, and public and informal meetings. Examples of functionality include but are not limited to audio and video recording and file annotations, duplication, archiving, storage and retrieval. As a result of this RFO, DIR expects to receive and evaluate responses and select one or more qualified Vendors with whom to enter into negotiations. Section 4 of this RFO contains more information regarding the response evaluation and Vendor selection process. DIR reserves the right to award more than one contract from this RFO. All contracts awarded shall be indefinite quantity contracts with no minimum guarantees of any business. An optional Vendor Conference will be held on January 18, 2008 10:00 am Central Standard Time (CST) at the location listed below.
