Bids, including a sealed Bid
Proposal, for the Project shall be
received in the Office of
Procurement & General Services, Room
121, College Hall, Texas A&M;
University-Kingsville, Kingsville,
Texas on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.
Closing time for the receipt of the
sealed Bid Proposals and the HUB
Subcontracting Plan (HSP) is 2:00
PM. Bids will be publicly opened
and read aloud in Room 121.
The Proposal form, Information to
Bidders, Plans (drawings),
Conditions of the Contract,
Technical specifications and other
documents that constitute the
contract may be examined at the
office of the Engineer, Alpha
Engineering at 109 N. 5th Street,
Kingsville, Texas 78363, phone 361-
592-2977.
General Contractors may obtain one
(1) set from the Engineer, upon
receipt of a $100.00 deposit per
set. Upon returning such set(s)
promptly and in good condition
within three weeks, after the bid
date, bidder will be refunded the
deposit. Non-bidders will be
refunded the deposit, less the cost
of reproduction.
The Owner reserves the right to
waive any formalities or to reject
any or all Bids. Alteration or
modification of the Bid Forms shall
be cause for rejection of the Bid. A
pre-bid meeting is scheduled for
10:00 AM, Thursday, May 22, 2008 in
the conference room of the Office of
University Facilities.
Each Bidder must deposit with the
Bid, a Bid Security in the amount,
form and subject to the conditions
provided in the Information to
Bidders.
No Bidder may withdraw his Bid
within thirty (30) days after the
actual date of the opening thereof.
