(Cat. Code: 909-77) UNT is advertising for proposals to perform renovations including replacement of shower units, painting and other room modifications. For fiscal 08 work is planned at Kerr and Clark Hall. Kerr Hall shall include shower replacement estimated at 78 units (36 € X 36 € ), room modifications including demo and wall repair for built in desk and carrel unit, replacement and modifications to lavatory, lower and upper cabinets, painting and paint touch up, minor plaster and tile repairs in bath for 156 units. Replacement of selected wardrobe and cabinet doors in approximately 26 units. Clark Hall shall include shower replacement estimated at 18 units (32 € x 32 € ), minor plaster and tile repairs in bath, painting and paint touch up. The successful proposer shall provide labor and equipment to complete the installation of shower units, room renovations. Work shall include all demolition, rough in, installation, caulking, plaster and tile repairs as needed to complete all requirements. Successful proposer shall be responsible for compliance with the entire project specifications as well as the following guidelines. The work includes and shall meet all specifications contained within this contract. This project will begin at the date of award to 8/31/09. UNT reserves the right to award to a single or multiple vendors. This contract will be effective from the date of award through August 31st, 2009. OPTION CLAUSE: It is agreed that the University of North Texas shall have the option to extend the contract for an additional three (3) years at one (1) year intervals under the same terms and conditions if both parties mutually agree in writing prior to the expiration date of the current fiscal year. The Option to Extend is at the discretion of UNT and will not be considered if legislative funding is not appropriated.
