The Texas Education Agency is currently seeking proposals for a collaborative project with agency staff conducting complex statistical analyses investigating the impact of the Texas Student Success Initiative (SSI) on student achievement. The purpose of this evaluation is to examine the effect of the SSI on student academic outcomes. TEA is seeking to contract with a third-party evaluator to assist with the development and execution of a complex set of statistical analyses of SSI student-level data. Additionally, the contractor must be able to work collaboratively with agency staff to write-up study findings in various formats, for different audiences. Proposals should include detailed research design and preliminary analysis plans covering the entire evaluation period.
