The Board of Regents of The Texas State University System (herein called the Owner),
invites sealed lump sum bids for:
ANNUAL ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE SERVICE
LAMAR UNIVERSITY
BEAUMONT, TEXAS
Lamar University is soliciting bid proposals for the annual elevator service contract. Sealed bids for the annual elevator service contract will be received by the Facilities Management Department until 3:00 P. M. August 15, 2008. Bid will be awarded on a lump sum basis with contract paid at monthly intervals. Conditional bids will not be considered.
Sealed bids shall be mailed or hand delivered to:

No later than 3:00 P.M. o € clock Friday, August 15, 2008, subsequently, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 4, 2008 at the Facilities Management Conference Room, 4301 MLK Parkway, Beaumont, Texas. A tour of the facilities will be offered at the conference. Attendance is not mandatory.
Questions regarding the specifications or bid requirements shall be directed to Mr. Gerald McCaig, Associate Vice President for Facilities Management, at 409-880-8108.
The contract period will commence on September 1, 2008 and extend until August 31, 2009, with the opportunity to renew the contract on an annual basis for three consecutive years. |
