QUESTION 1: I have a question about the cost proposal. The Vendor Specifications (pg. 20) state that each child may be tutored for "one to five days per week, one to two hours each day per subject." Since this proposal is unclear as to the actual number of hours of tutoring that would be offered, would it be permissible to quote a range based on the information given?

RESPONSE: The services will be based on total amount of Title I allocations to the participating schools under the Catholic Diocese. Funds will be used to pay teacher per diem salaries for services. (There is no per pupil allocation for base charges.)

QUESTION 2: Historically, have these services been performed by outside vendors or school district staff?

RESPONSE: The school district.

QUESTION 3: What are the parameters regarding a budget for theses services?

RESPONSE: Based upon 08-09 Title I allocation to private schools under the Catholic Diocese.

QUESTION 4: Are the services paid per student hour delivered like the SES services are paid or are they paid per teacher hour.

RESPONSE: Per teacher hour - there is no per pupil allocation to base charges.

QUESTION 5: The proposal mentions that services can be provided off site with permission from the SCCPSS. Is transportation available to transport students to Sylvan Learning Center?

RESPONSE: No

QUESTION 6: Are they restrictions regarding the days or time of day for the delivery of services?

RESPONSE: Will be Monday-Friday during regular school hours.

QUESTION 7: If the school buildings are used, are there any rental fees that must be paid?

RESPONSE: NA

QUESTION 8: What other providers have been solicited to provide bids for this contract?

RESPONSE: The RFP was opened for competitive bidding.

QUESTION 9: What kind of outreach services are you requiring?

RESPONSE: No outreach services are required.

QUESTION 10: Is there any type of a technology component required?

RESPONSE: No

QUESTION 11: What is the policy for reimbursement for student absences?

******All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
