Synopsis:

This is a pre-solicitation notice for the service to provide Ready Mix Concrete, Fill Materials and Rental Pump Truck support prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-08-T-0012 will be issued as a Request for Quotation on or after 11 August 2008. This solicitation is limited to local sources only located in Japan in accordance with FAR Sub-part 5.202 (12). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. DPAS Rating is DO-S-10. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 327320 and the business size standard is NTE 5.5 million.

Descriptions of services include three line items:CLIN 0001: ConcreteCLIN 0002: Pump Truck Rental CLIN 0003: Fill Materials(with four option years)

NOTE: THE SERVICES WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN, OKINAWA PREFECTURE. AWARDS CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED TO OPERATE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN.

The Government intends to make a single or multiple award(s)which is/are the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value evaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal.
