Synopsis:

Lakehurst Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey has a requirement for hardware components and repair in support of the System 28000 signal conditioning system for the Aircraft Launch and Recovery (ALRE) program. The components are as follows: 1. One (1) each 28008B-M3 28000 8 slot chassis with integral cooling; 2. Three (3) each 28008B-ACPS power supply, 120/220 VAC, for 28008 Mainframe; and 3. Three (3) each 28000C-B1F1-T backplane interface module with test hardware (includes 28000-GUI-WIN control software). The repairs are as follows: 1. Four (4) 28104-F8005-TD4-M104 s/n's 00173122-018, -02, -060, and -069 (bridge container units); 2. Four (4) Z-540 calibration data package for above 4 units; and 3. Shipping and handling. The Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Precision Filters, Inc. New York is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to manufacture and repair this hardware. Firms that recognize and provide this hardware are encouraged to identify themselves. See note 22.
