This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this requirement is CSC080010212 and is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using FAR Subpart 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for the following requirement:

Telescopic Radiation Probe 20 Each
Please see the attached Statement of Work titled Telescopic Radiation Probe dated 14 March 08.
Your quote shall include the following:
Unit price per probe
Total evaluated price
Probe specifications IAW the Statement of Work (Attachment 1)
This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and is under North American Industry Classification System code 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the Internet at website http://farsite.hill.af.mil. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26 and the Defense Acquisition Circular (DAC) 91-13 Correction.
