This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be issued. The solicitation number is 08TC721 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and DFARS change notice 20080812. This purchase is restricted to 100% Small Business concern. The NAICS code is 611699 and the size standard is $7.0M employees. This is a brand name or equal requirement for tactical rescue and extraction training and combat rescue slings. Please state discount terms and warranty information.

Additional details for Item 0001, tactical rescue and extraction training. Training will include the following:
-Employment, use, inspection and maintenance of the Nexus Extraction Tool (no longer the combat rescue sling)
-Mechanical advantage and proprietary rescue tactics, techniques and procedures for military operation and urban training (MOUT) environment
-Tactical decision, planning, and execution for small unit leaders
