Synopsis:

TASE DUO. The solicitation number is FA8601-08-T-0063. The NAICS Code is 333315. The size standard is 750 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Cloud Cap Technology. The purchase is for the TASE Gimbal Developer's Kit, TASE DUO stabilized PTZ Camera Gimbal with EO and IR imagers, the revoval of Photon IR camera, and the update of Duo gimbal to incorporate customer furnished payload. Cloud Cap Technology is the only known manufacturer that can provide this type of system with the appropriate specifications required by the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
