Synopsis:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W31P4Q-09-R-0176. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) under simplified acquisition procedures, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. These requirement is restricted to WSI Corporation, CAGE Code 4W999. The WSI Corporation is the only known source that can provide quality control over the data which is manually checked (no false echoes) and the on site meteorlogist required to provide 24 hours per-day for seven (7) days per-week technical support for the TAIS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 518210. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001, TAIS-FAA-INFO-AIR TRACK and WEATHER Data Satellite Systems and Network Services. Contractor shall warrant all equipment shall conform to the manufacturer's specifications and that the Software will materially conform to contractor's specifications during the term of this contract. The contractor shall be responsible for all repair cost associated with the equipment, except where there is evidence that the equipment was physically abused by the Government. The contractors warranty shall go into effect upon delivery and acceptance by the Government. Required delivery is 10 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Contractor to provide DD 250.
