ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
FOR STUDENT UNION AND BOOKSTORE EXPANSION
UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, DAVIS CAMPUS
The University of California, Davis campus requests the submission of written statements of qualifications by March 19, 2008, 5:00 p.m. for consideration to provide architectural services for the Student Union and Bookstore Expansion project.
The Student Union expansion is expected to include new lounges, common areas, game rooms, outdoor areas, and to upgrade the presence of a major northern entrance to the campus. The Bookstore expansion will add approximately 15,000 square feet to that facility.
The University is seeking a design team that will form a creative partnership with the Campus to produce facilities responsive to the Universitys needs while meeting stringent budget, schedule and life cycle cost goals. Relevant qualifications shall include proven experience in designing college student unions and campus bookstore facilities in excess of $5,000,000, as well as renovations of occupied facilities.
