| Opportunity Summary |
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Work generally consists of making repairs to the stairwell enclosure that suffered fire
damages to the exterior of the facility. Repairs include removal and replacement of painted
aluminum pieces, gaskets, seals, and tempered glass.
MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE:
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. on
site at the northwest stairwell enclosure of the Underground Parking Garage located at 900
Chemeketa Street SE, Salem, Oregon. The meeting is designed to clarify the information that
is requested and give an opportunity for questions and answers. Attendance is mandatory to
be considered as responsive to the quote.
Regardless of statements made, offerors are cautioned that quote requirements will change
only if confirmed by a written addendum to the quote documents issued by the Department of
Administrative Service, Facilities Division, Operation & Maintenance Section.
PROJECT COMPLETION DATE:
Project Start Date: Materilas are to be ordered immediately following the issuance of
Notice to Proceed.
Final Completion: is estimated to be August 29, 2008.
PRICING SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Offerors shall enter pricing and other required information for all Quote Items listed in
the Pricing Submittal Section of the RFQ.
If the Pricing Submittal Section is replaced by Solicitation Amendment then Offerors shall
use the Solicitation Amendment forms to provide pricing and other required information.
If the Pricing Submittal Section is only modified by Solicitation Amendment, then Offerors
shall follow the instructions in the Solicitation Amendment for making modifications to the
Pricing Submittal Section.
Failure to supply the required information in the Pricing Submittal Section or subsequent
Solicitation Amendment may result in Quote rejection as non-responsive.

Quote documents can be accessed by logging into ORPIN and selecting "Interested". After
signing on, the Quote Documents are available by selecting "Attachments Exist" or by
calling Terry Nunley at the number listed above.
