Description
The U.S. Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center (RDECOMAC) has a requirement for Stock Aluminum for Shielding of Xray Tube Heads and Film Cassettes to be used for Testing Purposes by the Army Research Laboratory in support o f the Joint IED Defeat Organization. This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The Government intends to procure through Simplified Acquisition Procedures (commercial items) under NAICS 423510 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. All r esponsi?ble sources may submit a quote which shall be consid?ered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet onl y. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors requests for this solicitation will be performed through ASFI (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/). Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award of a Federal contract. Information regarding registration can be obtained from the Business Partner Network site in the CCR link at https://www.ccr.gov/. Contractors are also required to complete online representations and certific ations at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) portal at https://orca.bpn.gov/, prior to the RFQ closing date.
