***Amended 08/04/2008 to include changes to the Affirmative Market Program that now require 10% DBE participation. Due to the changes, the submission deadline has been extended to September 5, 2008 at 4:30 PM. Materials from the pre-proposal meeting have also been updated.***Amended 07/15/2008 to include materials from the pre-proposal meeting.*** The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, acting through the Executive Office of Transportation and Public Works (EOTPW), requests responses from qualified consultants for the Statewide Travel Options Program. The Commonwealth seeks a consultant to develop and implement effective communications, marketing, and promotional programs to inform travelers, including commuters and employees, of the many benefits (i.e. cost and time savings, improved air quality, reduced traffic congestion, solutions to parking supply problems, reduction of climate change impacts) of using carpools, vanpools, transit, or other forms of high-occupancy vehicle travel, as well as walking and bicycling. A pre-proposal meeting will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, in the EOTPW Office of Transportation Planning Conference Room, 10 Park Plaza, Room 4150, Boston, Massachusetts. |
