UALIFICATIONS - PROJECT 0008-115-08
VPFA, SPORTS ARENA DECATUR STREET OFFICES BUILD-OUT
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AT-RISK SERVICES (CM/CG)
Georgia State University (GSU), representatives of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (Owner), will undertake a build-out of eight new offices in the GSU Sports Arena, located at 125 Decatur Street SE, in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, 30303.
The project will consist of the demolition of the existing storefront and construction of eight private offices at the Decatur Street entrance to the Sports Arena building. The project will include mechanical and electrical installations to support the offices. Area affected will cover approximately 900 square feet.
Construction completion date desired is approximately December 15, 2008.
The delivery method for this project will be CM/GC (construction manager at-risk) and will employ the services of a Design Professional as well as a CM/GC. Selection of professional construction services will be by Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS) in accordance with Chapter 22 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, in particular O.C.G.A. Section 50-22-6.
The architectural firm of Flynn Finderup holds the contract for design and for construction contract administration.
In effort to provide opportunity for enhanced knowledge about this project and for networking purposes, GSU anticipates hosting a conference to take place before the deadline for submittals.
This pre-submittal conference will be open to all interested persons. Details are in the RFQ.
