Edwards AFB will be hosting a special event to celebrate The Boys & Girls Club, "A Day for Kids". A Day for Kids Day will be held at the Main Youth Center on September 20, 2008. There will be exciting arts and crafts, family games such as water balloon toss, magic show, face painting and free food. The event will also have prizes and giveaways. Edwards AFB invites you to participate as a commercial sponsor.
Sponsorship is fundamental to the success of this event. Edwards AFB invites you to join in supporting the moral, welfare and recreation of our military and their dependents by becoming a commercial sponsor for the 2008 Boys & Girls Club "A Day for Kids" event. Sponsorship may be contributed in the form of monetary and/or in-kind contributions.
In appreciation of your sponsorship, your company may receive public recognition and exposure. The level of exposure is determined by the level of sponsorship, with all sponsors prominently acknowledged throughout the event. Sponsor exposure may include name and logo on recognition an all print media, including posters, signage, and banners, brochures, pictures and media coverage. More than one sponsor may be accepted and additives will be considered. Request for copies of this solicitation must be received no later than September 1, 2008.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept offers for sponsorships from any contractor, including their affiliates (division, business groups, subsidiaries, etc.) subcontract arrangements, teaming partners and joint venture partners who are currently participating in, or who intend to participate in, any solicitation issued by the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), or will involve AFFTC requirements of $100,000 or more. If your company meets these criteria, we request that you do not submit a sponsorship offer thereby eliminating the need for rejection by the Government.
This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a non-appropriated fund instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the government.
