The 43rd Security Forces at Pope AFB, North Carolina, is in need of speed displays and hardware. The information sought herein is for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a request for quote (RFQ), request for proposal (RFP), and invitation for bid (IFB) or as an obligation or commitment on the part of the Government to acquire any product or service. There shall be no basis for claims against the government as a result of information submitted in response to the sources sought announcement. The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this announcement or otherwise pay for any information submitted by respondents to this request. This notice is for market research purposes only and is not indicative of a full requirement. Should a full requirement arise, the full requirement will be detailed in the solicitation, if issued.
The specifications of the speed displays and hardware needed are as follows:

Pole Mounted Speed Displays, 12" 2 Digit Amber Display, Kustom Signals PN CRS 5018S//PM 275 or Equal. An equal item must be accompanied by literature detailing product specifications.
Qty: 10 Each
Violator Alert-Slow, Kustom Signals PN CRS 5025 or Equal. An equal item must be accompanied by literature detailing product specifications.
Qty: 10 Each
Solar Panels for PM 275 Pole Mount Speed Display, Kustom Signals PN CRS 5031 or Equal. An equal item must be accompanied by literature detailing product specifications.
Qty: 10 Each
Radar traffic Statictics Package, Kustom Signals PN CRS 5053 or Equal. An equal item must be accompanied by literature detailing product specifications.
Qty: 10 Each
Pole Kit, Kustom Signals PN CRS 5041 or Equal. An equal item must be accompanied by literature detailing product specifications.
Sources Sought Instructions: A written response with detailed information is requested of those suppliers who can provide PC monitors meeting the required specifications. Detailed information shall include the vendor's capability of providing the required goods and current commercial availability. Responses to this notice are due on or before 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2008. Priority for consideration will be given to small businesses.
