Synopsis:

This request for information is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren intends to purchase the following items to support the Combat Direction Systems Activity (CDSA), 1922 Regulus Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23461. SEE ATTACHMENT ONE FOR THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FEDBIZOPPS - https://www.fbo.gov or NSWCDD HOMEPAGE WEBSITE - http://www.nswc.navy.mil/SUPPLY. The items listed must be brand name or equal. Subject items are on an all or none basis. If bidding on an equal product include product information so that it can be determined whether item is an equal. Vendors must comply with the exact specifications listed; substitutes are not acceptable. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334513. The closing date will be 5 September 2008 with an anticipated award date of 8 September 2008. All items will be priced FOB Destination, Receiving Officer, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dam Neck, 1922 Regulus Avenue, Hopper Hall, Bldg. 127S, H220, Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2097.
