Synopsis:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation/Notice of Intent for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is NOI8409 and the solicitation is being issued as a Notice of Intent on a sole source basis. This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-26). This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is not a small business set aside. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) intends to procure from Raybiotech on a sole source basis multiplex assays for the measurement of murine (mouse) cytokines and chemokines as detailed below. The contractor is required to supply Multiplex arrays for the quantitation of Murine cytokines and chemokines needs. This is an on-going project, number Z01-A1-00581, Project title: The Danger model and how tissues control immunity. The assays/reagents should be capable of assessing the specific amounts of at least 100 chemokines and cytokines in 100-150ul of sample supernatant. The assays/reagents should be capable of measuring the standard Murine cytokines and chemokines, and in addition be capable of measuring the following. Murine IL-23, IL-27p28, IL-12p75, IL-12p40, IL-3, IL-21, IL-R4, IL-17E, F, IL-1Ralpha, IL-2R alpha, IL-3R beta, IL-6R. The North American Industry Classification System (NIACS) Code for this acquisition is 541711, and the small-business size standard is 500. This is a firm fixed-price contract and the FOB terms are "Destination" and Net 30.
