The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation is issuing this Request For Proposals (RFP) for Landscape Maintenance Services for 1) Bouquet Canyon Zones; 2) North East County Zones; and 3) Copper Hill Zones and Castaic Area Zones, under the Landscape and Lighting Act. We are seeking proposals from qualified organizations or individuals to provide landscape maintenance services.
Proposer s must meet all mandatory requirements set forth in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document including, but not limited to the Proposer have in his/her possession, at the time of proposal submission: 1) a valid C-27 Landscape contractor s License; 2) a minimum of two (2) years experience in providing landscape maintenance services as described in the Statement of Work; 3) Los Angeles County Agriculture commission Registration Permit; 4) Pest Control Advisor s License, Category D and E; 5) Qualified Applicator s License, Category B and 6) attend the mandatory conference and mandatory site visits.
A Mandatory Proposer s Conference will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008, at 8:00 a.m. at Castaic sports Complex, 31230 North Castaic Road, Castaic, California 91384. (TG 4369-H7). In addition, a mandatory site visit(s) shall take place immediately following the conference. The Department of Parks and Recreation will reject proposals from those whose attendance at the Proposer s Conference and Sites Visits cannot be verified through the sign in sheets. Proposer s are strongly encouraged to submit their questions prior to, or at the conference. After the Conference, it may be impossible to respond to further questions for information.
Proposals are due, no later than 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, at 301 North Baldwin Avenue (North Gate), Arcadia, CA 91006. Late proposals will not be accepted.
