The purpose of the Request for Quotes (RFQ) is to obtain services of a mechanic with a service truck. The solicitation requires a Type I mechanic with service truck (Heavy Construction Logging), and/or a Type 2 mechanic with service truck(Automotive, Light and Heavy Truck), and/or Type 3 mechanic with service truck (Inspection and Diagnostic services). Resources furnished under this agreement may be operated and subjected to extreme environmental and/or strenuous operating conditions which would include, but not limited to; unimproved roads, steep, rocky hilly terrain, dust, heat, and smoky conditions. The solicitation will be available electronically on FedBizOpps on or about April 14, 2008. There will be two meetings to discuss the solicitation requirements: Phoenix, AZ - April 22; beginning at 5 p.m., Tonto NF Supervisor's Office and Albuquerque, NM - April 24 beginning at 7 p.m.; Cibola NF Supervisor's Office.
