Sealed proposals will be received from pre-qualified contractors only until 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. The names of the respondents will be read aloud at 1:30 PM of the same day and no further bids will be accepted. The Minority Employment Provisions will be evaluated and those bids found to be in compliance with the Minority Employment Provisions shall be opened and read aloud at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.
Bidders Bidders will be permitted to submit Bids for any of the individual Projects or combinations of Projects listed below.
DIVISION 1 - PUMP STATION CONSTRUCTION: Includes furnishing and installing all pumps, painting, piping, valves, ventilations, electrical equipment, starters, switchgear, motor control centers, power and control conduit and wiring, lighting systems, stand-by-power generator(s), wiring of electrical panels, instrumentation, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, access road, concrete and masonry, cranes, and systems required for the pump stations including the Master Pump Station, Mega-Site Pump Station, Regional Pump Station, and all associated appurtenances as described in these Specifications and shown on the Drawings.
DIVISION 2 - OFF-SITE SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION: Includes furnishing and installing approximately 45,300 feet of 16-inch force main, 6,600 feet of 8 through 36-inch interceptor, 1,200 feet of 8 waterline, clearing and grubbing, traffic control, surface restoration, valve assemblies, air/vacuum valve assemblies, bored and jacked highway crossings, horizontal direction drilling, manholes, and all associated appurtenances as described in these Specifications and shown on the Drawings.
DIVISION 3 - PUMP STATION CONSTRUCTION AND THE OFF-SITE SANITARY SEWER CONSTRUCTION COMBINED: Includes furnishing and installing all pumps, painting, piping, valves, ventilations, electrical equipment, starters, switchgear, motor control centers, power and control conduit and wiring, lighting systems, stand-by-power generator(s), wiring of electrical panels, instrumentation, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, access road, concrete and masonry, cranes, and systems required for the pump stations including the Master Pump Station, Mega-Site Pump Station, Regional Pump Station, and all associated appurtenances as described in these Specifications and shown on the Drawings.
