Synopsis:

This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the repair and upgrading to the latest configuration of the A8 Frequency Converters (FCs), NSN 5895-01-477-0855, PN 29350 and NSN 5895-01-477-0858 PN 29340, used in the 3KW TQG. The current source for these units is Technology Research Corporation (TRC), CAGE 60177. The Government does not possess technical data (drawing or specifications) that completely define form, fit and function (F3) of the items being repaired or the upgrades required. Suppliers capable of repairing & upgrading these units must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-E-GN, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response should include production repair lead time, production repair capacity by month and ranges for price breaks if applicable. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the repairer was a vendor to the listed source, or documentation describing how the A8s will be troubleshot, repaired & tested. The successful repairer may be required to warrant that the items repair will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
