This is a sources sought synopsis. The Air Force SecurityAssistance Center (AFSAC), Wright-Patterson AFB, OH is seeking qualified, interested sources to provide 12 commercial vehicles for the support of the country of Singapore. The vehicles will need to be delivered to Mountain Home AFB Idaho no earlier than (NET) 15 Oct 2008 and no later than (NLT) 31 Oct 2008. This is issued as a sources sought. Deadline for registration is COB 11 Aug 2008. There is no promise of a contract or a solicitation. DRAFT requirements are attached.
The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. In accordance with the provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price, and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) price, and (ii); technical capability to meet the Government requirement; (iii) deliverable (see FAR 15.304). Technical and past performance, when combined, is approximately equal to cost or price. The Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executives OrdersCommercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
