Synopsis:

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for the upcoming procurement for FSC 1670/6605/6680/6685/8465 Cargo Swivels, Wind Speed Indicators, Psychrometers, Compasses, Collapsible Pails and Fuel Bottle Bags. GSA Southwest Supply Center, Fire and Industrial Acquisition Division intends to issue a requirements contract solicitation for the proposed contract period of December 1, 2008 November 30, 2009 with 4 one year option periods. Items to be procured are NSN 1670-01-029-8555 Swivel, Cargo, NSN 6605-00-171-5121 Forestry Compass, Magnetic, General Purpose, NSN 6605-00-553-8795 and NSN 6605-00-553-8795F Compass, Smoke-Chaser, Liquid Filled, NSN 6680-00-833-7010 and NSN 6680-00-833-7010F Wind Speed Indicator, NSN 6685-00-826-1662 and NSN 6685-00-826-1662F Psychrometer with Case, Sling, Pocket Type, NSN 8465-00-128-6928 Pail, Collapsible and NSN 8465-01-503-4476 Bag, Fuel Bottle. Item descriptions for these items are contained within the Market Survey. Delivery of these items will be to the GSA Depots located in Fort Worth, TX (F3), Burlington, NJ (N3), French Camp, CA (S3). The contract type will be a requirements contract, firm fixed price for the base contract period. An Economic Price Adjustment clause will be applicable to the option periods. The solicitation will be issued approximately October 1, 2008 or sooner and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website http://www.fbo.gov. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package at the time of issuance. FedBizOpps provides all downloading instructions regarding how to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information regarding this procurement, including solicitation amendments, if applicable, will be posted solely through the referenced website.
