The US Army Tank-Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) in support of the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) is seeking information from potential sources for a commercially-available Light Capability Rough Terrain Forklift (LCRTF) which may be easily modified to satisfy military-unique requirements. See Attachment 1 'Instructions to Manufacturers/Suppliers'. A detailed description of technical requirements is provided at Attachment 2 'Draft Technical Requirements for the Light Capability Rough Terrain Forklift (LCRTF)'.
This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from qualified businesses and to conduct market research in accordance with Fedaral Acquistion Regulation (FAR) Part 10. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
