Synopsis:

This sources sought is modified/amended to change the point of contact to Monique Klose at Monique.Klose@navy.mil. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport Division is hereby conducting a market survey of all potential sources of Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF) systems to support electronic unit identification for high speed Air Cushioned Vehicles (ACV). The US Navy Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) was designed in the 1970s. The intended use for information collected from this solicitation is to assess advances in technology since the LCAC design in order to develop system capabilities for future ACVs. The information provided will assist NUWC Keyport in understanding the technologies available for IFF systems to be incorporated in an ACV replacement. The Government is only looking at IFF systems utilizing current technology available in the open market. This market survey shall in no way bind the Government to offer contracts to responding companies. See attachment for information of format submittal and additional information. NUWC Keyport requests your responses by 10:00 am (PST) on 30 May 2008. Submissions will be accepted after this date, but feedback may not be as timely or contribute to NUWC Keyports strategic planning.
