A pre-bid meeting will be held for all pre-qualified General Contractors and interested bidders at the Office of Facilities Planning and Design, Giles F. Horney Building , Magnolia Conference Room, at 1:30 pm, Monday, May 5, 2008. Attendance is strongly encouraged. A site visit will follow the pre-bid meeting at which time a representative of the Designer and Owner will be available.
Complete plans and specifications for this project can be obtained from the designer, McKim & Creed, PA, 1730 Varsity Dr. Suite 500, Raleigh, NC 27606, Phone 919-233-8091, Fax 919-233-8031, Attn Dale Hyatt, during normal office hours, and will be open for inspection in the offices of the HUB Plan Room at UNC-CH, Giles Horney Building; Associated General Contractors, Carolinas Branch, Raleigh; in local McGraw-Hill Dodge Corporation; in the Eastern Regional Office of Reed Construction Data in Norcross, GA; in the Minority Plan Rooms in the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) in Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Raleigh Areas 877-227-1680; and in the Triangle Minority Contractor Resource Center, Durham, NC 27701,919-530-8780.
