Description
The Iowa Department of Human Services, Division of Data Management, is seeking up to three (3) Senior Business Analyst for staff augmentation. This position is responsible for facilitating the proper alignment between business processes and information technology. Senior BA s strive for continuous improvement of business processes and system functionality. As an IT / business liaison, the Senior BA is expected to maintain a global, enterprise-wide viewpoint, supporting the mission and vision of the organization while acting in the best interest of both the IT department and business department(s). Senior BA s should contribute broad experience and a high level of expertise in business processes and system functionality. They work with business stakeholders to define business requirements and with technical staff to develop solution alternatives. In addition, they actively participate in defining objectives to support changing business needs and availability of IT offerings. The Senior BA s role is to participate in the planning, analysis, documentation, design, prototyping, testing, training, and launch of efficient business, financial, and operations IT systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.
