This is a notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source contract for services under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to The David Allen Company, 407-F Bryant Circle, Ojai, CA 93023 for an in-house training seminar "Getting Things Done: Mastering Workflow" for up to 100 attendees. The FBI requires this seminar as part of the DEL Training Program and it meets a critical requirement for CART supervisors, coordinators and examiners. This seminar provides the top methodology for productivity and workflow management for technical personnel in this field. This company is the sole proprietary source for this seminar. This seminar is the only one that specifically meets the "workflow management" need for this requirement. This training is being procured under FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition/Commercial Item procedures. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this training. This Notice of Intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform this effort in writing electronically to Debra E. Chapman at dchapman@fbiacademy.edu. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Documentation shall be received by 3:00 PM June 25, 2008 EST to be considered by the FBI. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
