Synopsis:

Dyess AFB, Texas, intends to make a single award for the purchase of a Brand Name or Equal Request Items: E-SGNSS (Electric Self Generating Nitrogen Cart) P/N 792690-001 drawing 792690; with provided 20' 460v/60Hz power cable and equipment manuals consisting of Instillation, Operation, Service and Maintenance with parts listing. Salient Features: Equipment must have storage capacity of 850 scf or greater at 4,400 PSI. Have automatic start-up capability when storage pressure falls below 3,800 PSI and capable of automatic shut-down when storage system reaches 4,400 PSI. Purity of nitrogen gas produced must be 95.5 % pure or greater and be controlled automatically. Enclosure provided that is insulated for reduced noise levels and have a safety switch installed to prevent start-up when enclosure is open. Enclosure must have forklift tubes attached for transportation/movement and the ability to be mounted to a floor. Item must come with at least a 1 year warranty. After selection of a source (contractor) in accordance with 52.211-6, if requested by the government, the successful contractor will demonstrate equipment performance to customer prior to award of contract. Demonstration shall be at the customer's facility, 920 Avenue D, Dyess AFB, TX 79607 & shall be at no cost to the government. Final contract award is dependent upon acceptance of the product after requested successful demonstration. Shipping/unloading of equipment will be included contract. After selection of a source (contractor) in accordance with 52.211-6, if requested by the government, the successful contractor will demonstrate equipment performance to customer prior to award of contract. Demonstration shall be at the customer's facility, 920 Avenue D, Dyess AFB, TX 79607 & shall be at no cost to the government. Final contract award is dependent upon acceptance of the product after requested successful demonstration at Dyess AFB, TX. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price. The solicitation will be available on or about August 7, 2008 and will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through the website.
