Description:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisiiton Regulation (FAR) in Subparts 12.6 and 13.105, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorparated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24, March 31, 2008.
This acquisition is set-aside 100% for Small Business.
This is a firm fixed price procurement and requirements will be procured using commercial item procedures. A best value award selection will be made based on price and other factors in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. Upon award, the Government will issue a purchase order to the selected Offeror.
REQUIREMENT:
Forklift to include the following specifications: Load Capacity - 5000 lbs Fuel Type - Propane Mast Minimum Height Fully Extended - 187" Mast Lowered Height Minimum - 98" Attachment - Side Shift Brakes - Disc Lights - Front & Rear Safety - Back-up Alarm Tires - Pneumatic Forks 42" Warranty - 12 Months with 24 month power train and 60 month brake warranty. Required Delivery Date - 100 Days ARO FOB Destination - Anchorage Alaska
Offer should include proposed model and delivery date
All warranty work shall be FOB, Anchorage Alaska. Any warranty exchange shall be FOB Anchorage Alaska.

*FAR 52.212-01 Instruction to Offerors -- Commercial ItemsSubmitting a Quote: Quotes submitted shall contain the following informaton: RFQ number, name, address, telephone number of Offeror, terms of any expressed warranty, price, any discount terms and acknowledgement of all solicitation amendments (if applicable). Quote shall also contain all other documentation specified herein. Offerors quote is acceptance of all terms, conditions and provisions included in the solicitation. Facsimile and electronic mail quotes will be accepted.
Period of Acceptance for Quotes: The Offeror agrees to hold prices in its quote firm for 90 calendar days from the date sprcified for receipt of quotes, unless another time period is stated in an addendum to the solicitation.
Late offers: The Government may consider quotations received after the time specified if award has not been made.
**FAR 52.212-02 Evaluation -- Commercial Items(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:
Price, technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, and delivery date. All non-priced factors when combined are equal to price.
