Synopsis:

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for security bag products (See attachment for product specifications). This synopsis for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The DEA Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number DEA-08-SA-0183 will be awarded on a sole source basis to Ampac Packaging, LLC. The proposed purchase order is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Ampac Packaging, LLC. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is on file. No solicitation is available and requests for such will not be acknowledged. The applicable NAICS code is 326111 (Plastic Bags & Pouch Manufacturing). This acquisition incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
