Title: Sealed Responses for Renovations and Building Code Upgrades for the Fairmont Minnesota National Guard Armory (Project No. 07309) will be received by the Facilities Management Office, Department of Military Affairs, State of Minnesota, Camp Ripley, 15000 Highway 115, Little Falls, Minnesota 56345-4173, until the date and time listed in the Response Due date and time noted above. FURTHER DESCRIPTION: Each response which totals more than $50,000.00 must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or money order made payable only to the State of Minnesota; or a surety bond of a surety company duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota; in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the response, which is submitted as a solicitation security conditioned upon the responder s entering into a contract with the State of Minnesota in accordance with the terms of the solicitation. It is agreed that said solicitation security of the successful responder will constitute liquidated damages, not a penalty, for the failure or refusal of the successful responder to execute and deliver the contractual documents, in a correct form, within ten (10) days after receipt of the contract documents. This project is subject to Targeted Group/Economically Disadvantaged business preference.
