FURTHER DESCRIPTION: Each response which totals more than $50,000.00 must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or money order made payable only to the State of Minnesota; or a surety bond of a surety company duly authorized to do business in the State of Minnesota; in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the response, which is submitted as a solicitation security conditioned upon the responder s entering into a contract with the State of Minnesota in accordance with the terms of the solicitation. It is agreed that said solicitation security of the successful responder will constitute liquidated damages, not a penalty, for the failure or refusal of the successful responder to execute and deliver the contractual documents, in a correct form, within ten (10) days after receipt of the contract documents. This project is subject to Targeted Group/Economically Disadvantaged business preference. Plans and specifications are available from the Department of Military Affairs, Facilities Management Office, Camp Ripley, 15000 Highway 115, Little Falls, Minnesota 56345-4173, telephone 320.616.2630.
