The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), is contracting to acquire scanning, indexing and support services. The National Revenue Center (NRC) is vital to accomplishing the overall mission of the TTB. Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, the NRC is comprised of over 180 dedicated employees whose primary duties are to serve our customers with permit and registration applications; filing and payment of taxes; and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
The NRC has a need for the necessary personnel to perform administrative and support services including, but not limited to: data entry services, mailroom services, indexing, clerical services, customer support services, reception services and file maintenance. This contract will allow for effective utilization of Contractor employees and reduce current contract administration and its related costs.
Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. The purpose of this Amendment is to provide further information, as follows:
1. This procurement will be a competitive set-aside for 8(a) companies.
2. The full-text solicitation will be posted by Friday, July 11, 2008.
3. The site visit will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 1:00pm ET at the John Weld Peck Federal Building located at 550 Main Street, Cincinnati, OH. All participants must complete and submit the attached Pre-Registration form by 2:00pm ET on Monday, July 14, 2008 to be qualified to attend the site visit. A limit of two participants per company is requested.
