San Diego State University is seeking qualified copier equipment companies to submit proposals to provide a satellite copiers cost per copy contract to install, supply and maintain a fleet of office convenience copiers, including supplies such as toner, developer, fuser oil, parts and labor, training and all necessary supplies other than paper.
Under the direction of the Business Services Department, the contractor shall perform the duties under a performance contract with an initial period of 3 and years with the option to renew for an additional 3 and years. Successful proposer shall address copier installation, efficiency, modernization, supplies, networking, and maintenance including parts and labor and training.
The University recognizes that proposers may represent more than one manufacturer. Therefore, alternate proposals will be accepted from proposers for more than one manufacturer. The University will be selecting only one brand of copier.
RFP Due date: Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:00pm
A mandatory pre-proposal conference has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 10:00am. Proposals will not be accepted from contractors who fail to attend the scheduled mandatory pre-proposal conference. Due to the expected number of attendees, no more than two representatives from each company will be admitted. Prospective proposers should meet in the SDSU Contract and Procurement Management office, Administration Building, Room 116, on the campus of San Diego State University, 5500 Campanile Dr., San Diego, CA 92182-1616.
NOTE: It is imperative that proposers arrive on time. Please allow extra time for parking. Obtain an all day Business parking permit for $5.00 from the Information Booth (http://police.sdsu.edu/booth.htm) (Hours 7:30am 2:30pm) located on the corner of College Avenue and Canyon Crest Drive, or utilize the Trolley, Green Line service with a station stop on campus.
