Synopsis:

The Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center, Charleston(SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston) has a requirement for iDirect VSAT hub routers,line cards, satellite routers, satellite modems, and other satellite communications equipment. Training and support services are also required.The solicitation will contain brand name restrictions as the satellitecommunications components must interface and be configurable withthe recently upgraded satellite communications systems utilized by variousJoint Warfighter commands. The upgraded VSAT systems utilize the 5IFiNFINITI hub router along with 1.0M SATCOM systems with iDirect modems.
This procurement is a follow-on to contract N65236-05-D-5152 with iDirectTechnologies. SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a full and opencompetitive solicitation with brand name restrictions. An indefinite delivery,indefinite quantity firm-fixed-price type contract is anticipated with a baseperiod of one year and two one-year options. All responsible sources areinvited to submit a proposal which will be considered. The applicable NAICSCode is 423690 with a size standard of 500 employees.
