The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC-PCD) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Trivec-Avant Corporation of Huntington Beach, CA for the procurement of 24 each Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Antennas, Part Number: AV2055-3. Trivec-Avant Corp is the only manufacturer known for the SATCOM Antenna AV 2055-3, which have been used along with the AN/PRC 152 (V) 2 and proven compatibility. The Deployable Joint Command and Control (DJC2) program as already invested considerable cost and time in integration and system testing. Using a different vendors hardware would force a new integration and testing cycle of the overall system at considerable cost.
The Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N61331-08-T-3527. Simplified Acquisition Procedures is the method of award for this procurement. The NAICS code is 334220 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The order shall be firm fixed priced. The expected award date is 23 July 2008. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer Building 100, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. Delivery terms for this requirement are FOB Destination.
In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
