Alternative Disinfection Project

Description

The project is for replacing the existing gaseous chlorine disinfection system, and gaseous sulfur dioxide dechlorination system, with sodium hypochlorite and sodium bisulfite. The project involves construction of a tank farm for hypochlorite, 330,000 gallon FRP tanks and a bisulfite 4-12,000 gallon HDPE tanks on concrete pile foundation, transfer stations, metering pumps, associated piping and valves, electrical and instrumentation works.
