The Social Security Administration s (SSAs), Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR) located at Suite 603A, One Skyline Tower, 5107 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, Virginia 22041-3249 has a requirement for a Samson Brand Name OR Equal Laminator and Related Supplies. I will conduct this requirement as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333313. The size standard for this NAICS code is 1,000 Employees, 500 Employees for Non-Manufacturers. The SSA anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order for this effort. I will use Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) parts 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. I anticipate issuing the Request for Quote (RFQ) on or about August 26, 2008. I will issue the RFQ under solicitation number SSA-RFQ-08-1810. QUESTION:
The bid request is for a Samson Plus 4200 - 62" Laminator but the Salient Characteristics call for the unit to laminate material between 40-44".
Do you want a 44" Laminator or a 62" Laminator?
RESPONSE:
This is a typo. The Sampson is a 42" laminator. We are looking for a laminator that can laminate between 40-44". We purposely selected a range.
All other terms and conditions remain the same and unchanged.
