Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotation (RFQ), HSCG84-08-Q-3PB253, incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This is a 100% small business concern set-aside procurement. Only offers from small business will be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAIC) code is 339999, size standard is 500 employees. An award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR Part 13, as a firm fixed price purchase order. CLIN:1.P/N 580,Survivor Simulator,20 each; 2. P/N 208, StarFlash? Signal Mirror, 200 each; 3.P/N 217-A, Survival Vest w/ U. S .Coast Guard Auxiliary markings, Size: Large, 300 each; 4. P/N 217-A, Survival Vest w/ U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary markings, Size: Regular, 100 each; 5. P/N 308, Rescue Gear Bag, Orange/Black, 300 each; 6. P/N 316, ACR? FIREFLY3? Rescue Light , 200 each; 7. P/N 358, Rescue & Survival Knife, 200 each; 8.P/N 715, Skullcap Liner, Size: Small/Medium, 50 each; and 9. P/N 715, Skullcap Liner, Size: Medium/Large, 50 each. Required delivery date is April 16. 2008. Include shipping cost, if any, and expected delivery date, if unable to meet the required delivery date. Quotes that include equal items shall include technical specifications and brochures. The Coast Guard will evaluate quotes/offers and will make an award resulting from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote/offer conforms to this solicitation and is determined to be most advantageous to the Government based on ability to meet basic requirements, delivery, and price.

NOTICE TO OFFERORS CONCERNING REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS:
This solicitation contains FAR Clause 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration and FAR Provision 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications. In accordance with FAR 4.1201 prospective contractors are required to submit annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov.
